In my media lesson i have been looking at film promotion and how it is used to make the film sucessful, first we was given a choice of what contrasting fils we want to research, we were given internet access to find our information and create a power point presentation to show to the rest of the class. My partner was Holly and she decided to reseach Ghost of girlfriends past and I did some research on how the film Transformers 2 is being promoted. I chose Transformers because it is just come out and is well-known across the country, due to it being newly released it has more promotional elements for me to research and therefore would give me a wider range of findings.
Using the google search engiene i found advertising posters of the film, the main points from the poster where the colours and how they contrasted each other by being bold and also including some metallic shades, the font of the title was also metallic that connotes the brand of the film , the robots and the genre being sci- fi.
